The Orchard and Shepherdswell PTA

The joint PTA for Orchard and Shepherdswell was set up in September 2023 with the aim to raise money for developing learning opportunities for the children at both Orchard Academy and Shepherdswell Academy.

Last year your support and generous donations we spent on providing resources for Outdoor learning. Outdoor learning experiences are extremely important and allow children to learn in an active way, developing the learning skills of enquiry, feedback, reflection, and cooperative learning.

We would like to engage with local businesses to support us.

Events this year include Firework night, The Winter Fayre, outdoor movie night, Frozen Fridays and the new and improved SPRING Fest with a colour run.

Our committee is made up of a group of our wonderful parents and staff.
